It's with great pleasure that I present
myself and my career background to all concerned in view of my
forthcoming 57 th anniversary of service inthe tourism business in
Sri Lanka.
My first Job being Traffic Officer in Air Ceylon, the then NATIONAL
FLAG CAREER AIRLINEback in November 1965 at the age of 20.
It was about this time the CEYLON TOURIST BOARD was inaugurated.
Thus I had the unique privilege of starting my career with the
beginning of tourism in Sri Lanka.
My career continued with positions given below;

Restaurant Manager
-
Hotel MANAGER
-
National Guide LECTURER-French Speaking
Not
only was I in big demand as a French
Speaking Guide of quality with the
reputed travel Firms of Sri LANKA; but I
also had the privilege of being
recommended by the renown French guide
Book'Le Guide Du Routard' in their
edition of 1986.
Due to the fact that I have already
worked for nearly 57 years I 'm now
starting to feel theadvent of retiring
age.
My two sons are now handling part of my
work and in the future they will
hopefullybe able to handle some of the
requests.
If it's the will of the lord I might be
able to work three more years as
GUIDEworking occasionally(my health
permitting).
